The Dancing Boo

Bailey took a dance camp last week and she had a little performance at the end. She too got her hair cut when I got mine done.

Hair Cut

For the third time in my life, I have cut my hair and donated it to Locks of Love. It took me about 3 years to get it this long, and it took my hair dresser 5 minutes to chop it off. While I liked it long I am glad to have it short for a while. The haircut he gave me has lots of layers in it and I don't think I like them much. But it is hair and it grows back. He took about 12 inches total and now the hair is above my shoulders.

Camping

We had a great time camping with our bible study group. It was three days of resting and eating. I did do one hike to try and walk off all the food that was around. The girls adopted two of the men as "uncles" because they took them out fishing all the time.

The girls also took their bikes and went everywhere on them... fishing, scouting out the campsite, fishing and more fishing. Bailey is now a fishing fool and Mack did well also. Frank had fun fishing too.

Frank and I got camper envy for a little while. We have a nice pop-up and every one else had regular campers with bathrooms, showers and big refridgerators. Then we realized that while our pop-up is small, it is perfect for us for the time being.

We made it home jus in time to go to my company picnic at the zoo. Good times...

A girls night out with "Sex"

It was a girls night out with Sex and the City... The highly anticipated release came with a bang and 7 of us ventured out to be in the mix of things. There was my cousin Suzanne and her friend Cathy, my cousin Liz and her friend Beth, my good friend Michelle, sister Heather and myself. We started out at Seasons for a couple of drinks and dinner and moved to Q-Bar at the Sheraton since the movie didn't even start until 10:40PM. Yes, it was Late!! It was too late. I can not stay out late anymore and try to function with only 3-4 hours of sleep. It didn't help that I had a bike ride on Saturday too. Thank goodness it was not until 12:00, but it was in the middle of the heat.

The movie was good, not as good as I had hoped. SJP just did not look good to me. A little too skinny. There were women who came in limos and dressed to the nines. My group, well, we just look good and casual. Not fancy, not casual. Just good. Us 40 something girls still got it.
