The finished product.

Grandpa and his girls.

Dad and his girls.

10 days until CHRISTmas

I was getting a little panicked when I realized that Chistmas was only 10 days away and we hadn't put up a tree. Frank likes to go cut one down, but this year there just was not enough time. So Friday after work, I went and picked the girls up from the house and we went Christmas tree shopping (Frank was working). As usual MacKenzie wanted the $80 one and Bailey liked the orphan ones in the bargin bin for $15. We settled for something in the middle. We tried our best to strap in on to the top of the Expedition but my knots are just not Frank's knots. Mack and I thought we had done really well until Bailey picked it up to see if it would stay and knocked it off the top. So, being the girls we are, we shoved in the back of the Expedition and the girls held on to it for the ride home. Frank was a little surprised that we actually got it home.

My dad came over and helped us decorate it and it is perfect...

Happy Thanksgiving from Station 1

This year we spent Thanksgiving at the Fire Station as Frank had to work. We had a great time even though we were not at home. Each of the guys brought in something to add to the table and Frank smoked two turkeys... yum, yum. Some other family members joined us and my dad came by for awhile. The girls had fun jumping around the fire engine, ladder truck and resue.
